Support Cinde Bennett's Recovery

During a weekend trip to visit Audrey in NYC, Cinde slipped on the stairs and fractured her pelvis in three places. Though a pelvic fracture is very painful, it is inoperable and just takes time to heal. Due to the level of her pain when she attempts to walk, rehab is necessary-- so traveling back to MS is not yet possible. She has been admitted to a rehab facility in the Bronx, NY. Everyday we (her daughters) are traveling out there to be with her and aid in her progress. We are certainly still in the thick of it.

As many of you know, she is in a single income household and is self employed as a hairdresser. Reality has set in that it will be an indefinite amount of time before she is able to be up and working again-- yet we all know the bills keep coming.

The list of needs seems to keep growing.

The Lord has been incredibly kind in providing Mom with compassionate care from staff, surrounding us with the community Audrey has formed in NYC and sending constant emotional support from everyone back in MS. But this financial need is still very much a need.

So- would you help us support Cinde while she recovers from this injury?

We are hoping to raise enough to cover a couple months worth of basic needs. That number will also grow once we know more about what medical bills could look like. Ultimately, as difficult as it is to ask for help, we need it-- Mom needs it-- and this is what the global church body does when someone has a need.

This situation has been nightmarish at times. The hurdles seem to multiply daily and we cling to Christ for reassurance. We certainly above everything else desire your prayers and we continue to seek wisdom from Jesus on how to best navigate these circumstances.
