As many of you now know, Cindy recently underwent emergency surgery to remove an often deadly and very rare form of cyst from her brain, called a colloid cyst. Thankfully, in her case, it was non-cancerous and fortunately, with the great medical care she received, she is actively recovering at home. However, Cindy was under medical care for 13 days in addition to her emergency brain surgery. This completely unexpected diagnosis, hospital stay, surgery and unknown recovery period have had a significant impact on Cindy and her family so we have pulled together this fundraiser to help provide our collective support during these unprecedented times in the way that Cindy has done so for many others during times of hardship.
