Support the City Hope food pantry (Clearfield, UT)

CityHope is a food pantry program operated by Nations for Christ (N4C) in partnership with the Utah Food Bank and other similar organizations in Northern Utah. CityHope does its food distribution every Saturday at 562 S 1000 E, Clearfield UT.

The pantry was established in July 2020 out of a desire to help families that were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic especially those in the surrounding communities. From five bags of grocery items donated by N4C church members, CityHope now serves around 1,200 families monthly with tons of fruits, vegetables, bread, meat, canned goods, clothes and other necessities.

CityHope is 100% run by volunteers with operations entirely funded by N4C. Over the past two years, however, the pantry has grown to a point beyond what N4C alone can support. Because of this, a group of volunteers has recently decided to raise funds to keep the program going and even improve services as more and more families access the pantry weekly.

At the moment, funds are needed (1) to replace a 40-year-old truck used to haul food but is now too costly to maintain, (2) to acquire additional commercial refrigerators/freezers and other equipment, and (3) to cover day-to-day operating expenses.
