Support Claire’s Recovery

My name is Manuela and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of my dear, best friend Claire.
On April 19th, Claire suffered a stroke-like episode, which affected her vision, speech, memory, and caused her to lose feeling in her arms and legs. After seven weeks in the hospital and undergoing numerous painful medical procedures including CT scans, MRIs, lumbar punctures, and an epidural blood patch, Claire was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder. FND is a complex condition that affects the nervous system, resulting in a wide range of physical and neurological symptoms. Claire's journey is far from over: though her cognitive functions are slowly improving, at 35 years old, she is facing the daunting task of relearning how to walk.
Our primary goal with this fundraiser is to cover the overwhelming expenses that Claire has incurred during her hospital stay and ongoing treatments. Additionally, we want to ensure she can keep her accessible apartment, which will play a crucial role in her rehabilitation process. Lastly, Claire is a loving dog mom, and we want to provide support for her pups Prin and Louis’ care while she focuses on her recovery.
Despite the physical and emotional toll that FND has taken on her, Claire remains an amazing soul who radiates positivity and strength, inspiring all who know her. Even on her darkest days, she shines her light that warms the hearts of the fellow patients and healthcare workers that are lucky enough to be in her orbit.
We understand that times are tough for everyone, but any contribution, big or small, will make a tremendous difference in Claire's life.
Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. The power of community and compassion is immense, and together, we can help Claire regain her independence and reclaim her life.
Thank you for your generosity, kindness, and for helping Claire in her journey toward recovery.
