Support Clara Meyer's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Friends and Family,
On July 18th, Clara was diagnosed with breast cancer— stage 4 HER2 positive invasive ductal carcinoma. We are all anxious and scared but also steadfast, and we hope that Clara is going to respond well to treatment with Tim and their three beautiful girls by her side. Georgia is 3.5, Olive is 1.5, and Maisie is just three months old. We hope you can help rally around her as she fights through these upcoming challenges. She has everything to live for and will do everything she can for her three girlies and husband.
Tim is working full time (along with taking Clara to appts and being there for the girls) so he can maintain health insurance. She has started care at the Scripps Cancer Center in San Diego. She has had many appointments, scans, and biopsies the last three weeks and started chemo on Friday August 2nd, the same day Maisie turned three months old.
We are asking for your donations to help with the upcoming costs as Clara undergoes chemotherapy especially when it comes to medical bills, emergency room visits, childcare, and household expenses. If you want to donate specifically for childcare supplies (bottles, formula, diapers, etc.) please consider a Target or Amazon gift card. You could reach out to her brother Marco (909-838-2394) and he will coordinate getting it to
Clara.
Clara is so strong, so caring, and anyone who has met her has felt her generous love—and probably also fallen victim to her biting wit and side splitting humor :)
Clara is our daughter, sister, niece, cousin, wife, mom, aunt, and friend, and we are all the better for having her in our lives. All donations will go to Clara and Tim Meyer.
For any updates, encouraging messages, or additional questions about how to help we ask that you reach out through this email as to not overwhelm Clara and Tim right now as they navigate their way through Clara’s treatment.
