Support Cliff Rodrigues Jr.'s Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Chazzie. I am making this GoFundMe for my caring, loving, and selfless brother, Cliff Rodrigues Jr.
Cliff has the biggest heart and is the one who keeps everyone on their toes. In the last few months, his wife, Shanna, and Cliff have been through more than anyone is ever prepared for.
Just a few months ago, Cliff went to the ER because he wasn’t feeling well. It was there when they did multiple tests and received devastating news. They found a large mass in his throat. It was large enough that doctors were amazed it hadn’t suffocated him. They quickly admitted him to the hospital, and he underwent surgery to have a tracheostomy to help him breathe. They took a biopsy of the mass, and the results came back that it is, in fact, throat cancer (Squamous Cell Carcinoma). He also had to have another surgery done to have a feeding tube inserted in his stomach to help with nutrition since he cannot eat. Cliff got his port put in so that he would be ready for chemo. Finally, at the beginning of this month, he had his first chemotherapy appointment, and none of us were prepared for what happened next. The discomfort, the pain, the nausea, and the sepsis infection that landed him back in the hospital. We are all devastated, and we know that we cannot take the emotional, mental, and physical pain away from Cliff, Shanna, and their two boys; however, we are trying in any way possible to take the financial burden from them.
Cliff can overcome anything, and we all have his back to get him through this difficult time. Cliff and Shanna ask for nothing and never want to burden others, but they deserve all the help they can get.
Any amount helps, and we thank each and every person for taking the time to read this, share this, and donate. Your prayers are greatly appreciated. We thank you for your kindness in advance, and we will keep you updated as more information comes in. Thank you and God Bless!
