Clinton Lee Baker, Jr., age 31 of Dandridge, TN passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born July 26, 1993 in Welch, WV, he was the son Freda Hutchinson Lane and the late Clinton Lee Baker. Clinton was of the Christian faith and he attended The Crossing Church at Kodak, TN. He was a hard-working man, making his career as a heavy equipment operator. A free-spirited individual, he lived life to the fullest and pushed the limits. Clinton enjoyed attending car shows and he loved fishing and guns and his Frenchies-Zoey, Cooie, Oreo and Jacks. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and his daughters whom he deeply cherished. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Eddie Lane; maternal grandparents, Billy and Marie Hutchinson; special aunt, Shelia Baker.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Freda Hutchinson Lane; wife, Amber Collins Baker; daughters, Jaydyn; sisters, Tara Walker of Columbus, OH, Stephanie Young and husband Gregory of Princeton, WV, Selena Messer and husband Stephen of Hartford, TN, Tamara Ashmore and companion Kenny Adkins of Morgantown, WV, Leann Hutchinson and companion Derek Caldwell of Bluefield, WV, Emma Lane of Sevierville, TN and Megan Lane and companion Rob Mitchell of Poughkeepsie, NY.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 PM, Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Berwind Pentecostal Christian Center (3363 Rift Berwind Rd, Berwind, WV) where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Sunday, December 15, 2024 with Pastor Randall Campbell II officiating. Burial will follow at Baker Family Cemetery in War, WV. Lee Watts, Brandon Mitchell, Billy Harris, Gregory Young, Stephen Messer, Kenny Adkins, Derek Caldwell and Lonnie Hutchinson will serve as pallbearers.
