Support Coach Adam's Fight for Justice

Donation protected
Coach Adam was terminated citing a “social media violation” for posting a video of a student with her face covered who came up to him to proudly show him her hair that “looked like the butterflies he [Adam] taught her about.” Adam responded and said, “She looked like a beautiful butterfly and she could star in 'A Bug’s Life.'” That’s it.

It’s all been blown out of proportion and lies have spread like wildfire due to the vagueness of the information being put out and people simply wanting to come off as knowing more than they do.

The reason Adam and the people involved have been so vague and quiet thus far is because Adam and those closest to him were advised not to say anything on social media until “the investigation was complete.” Adam also wanted to prevent any attacks or speculation being made about the people assumed to be the ones responsible for reporting him, which he also stated on his personal page.

Obviously, a fair and unbiased “investigation” has clearly not been conducted, and unfounded false accusations and assumptions about what happened have been floating around due to the magnitude of reaction this issue has caused.

Adam being fired because of a single “violation” sounds crazy and extreme because IT IS—not because there is more to the story or because things are being “kept secret.”

Thankfully, most people have put two and two together about who’s responsible for the outrageous decision and can see that the punishment doesn’t fit the “crime.” The consequences for social media violation can range from principal reprimand “up to termination” as outlined in the teacher handbook and the official letter he was sent. Clearly, the actions taken were extreme as the COC jumped straight to termination, even after the plethora of support from parents, students, and our community. The injustice and emotional roller coaster Adam has been on since this started has been a nightmare. The only bright spots have been the positive words of support from the community and from the students.

So here we are, coming together as a community, to once again show support by donating funds to assist Coach in fighting this legal battle for his unjust termination. We pray that this is resolved quickly and easily so that our kids can have their mentor and friend back in the gym.
