Support Coach Don McCauley
Tax deductible
Coach Don McCauley has donated his entire life to the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. More than just the sport, he’s donated his life to his athletes. He coaches, referees, teaches clinics, writes articles, and has written a book all of these focused on his beloved sport of Olympic Weightlifting. Now he needs the sport that he has given so much of himself to give back. He has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, and now a brain tumor that has caused a stroke.
Our team actually needs your help in supporting our skipper. We will use your gifts to continue supporting our amazing coach through this entire ordeal. Our team has taken a major hit this year in funding. Unfortunately a few of our main sponsors have either gone out of business or taken financial hits cutting our funding in more than half. Mash Elite Performance, our for-profit entity, continues to be the main source of revenue for our team, but we need your help more than ever.
With your gifts we will support Coach McCauley through all of this. We mainly hope to cover his salary and a few of his extra costs and bills. We will also be announcing a bigger fundraiser where we hope to help him even more financially. He has his first major surgery on Monday, so timing is crucial.
We have never used a GoFundMe for our team or any of our members until now. We have always tried to earn our sponsorships, and we have worked hard to hold up our end of the bargain, but this has hit us at a hard time. We need your help in supporting this man that has given every ounce of his being for this sport and his athletes.
If you feel it in your heart to give, our entire team will thank you. We will continue our mission in the meantime of producing the best weightlifters in the country, and we hope to advance our at-risk program more than ever to make our community a better and brighter place with the sport that we all love so dearly.
Thank you in advance,
Coach Travis Mash
