Support Coach Margaret

This GoFundMe is to help our dearest friend, sister, aunt, daughter, and beloved elementary physical education teacher, Coach Margaret. As you all know, Margaret has a giant heart and is always one to joyfully give her time and love to others!

Unfortunately, now it is time for her to receive some help in return. Margaret will be undergoing emergency surgery this December 2023 to remove her eye due to a serious medical condition. Though we do not know enough yet about the underlying cause, we do know that it is an extremely scary and uncertain time for her and her family.

To help them, we (a few of her friends since elementary school) have set up this page to give people an opportunity to contribute funds through a GoFundMe campaign. The funds collected will go directly to Margaret and her husband to help offset out-of-pocket medical costs and everyday expenses, from lost work during her recovery including meals. It may also go towards travel or other immediate needs as they arise.

Since this is all very new, we aren’t entirely sure what all her needs will be. But right now, being able to take away some of the mental anguish that comes from worrying about daily needs and finances is something we can do whether we are geographically close to Margaret or far away!

Any contribution of love or money, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. We will provide an update on how she is doing when we know more. Thank you so much.
