The Coast Miwok of Southern Marin Project is dedicated to protecting and promoting the cultural, spiritual, and ancestral heritage of the Coast Miwok people of Marin County. Our mission is to:

Preserve and restore ancestral lands and cultural sites

Support indigenous artists, artisans, and cultural events

Advocate for Native American rights, representation, and self-determination

Educate and raise awareness about Coast Miwok history, culture, and contributions

Guiding Principles

Respect and honor our ancestors and elders

Preserve and protect our cultural heritage for future generations

Foster community and collaboration among Coast Miwok people and allies
