Support Cody and Ashleigh's IVF Journey

Our names are Cody and Ashleigh Maybank. We have been together for fourteen years; married for four, and we have been trying to start a family of our own without success. After three years of doctors' appointments, fertility testing, blood draws, and a surgical fertility procedure, we have finally arrived at an answer to the devastating questions "Why isn't it happening for us?" "When will it finally be our turn?" "How many more let-downs can I take before it hurts too badly to keep holding on to hope?"; In-Vitro Fertilization. In-vitro fertilization, or IVF, has become more common in recent years, giving new hope to couples unable to conceive on their own, naturally. Though the science and technology and the procedure itself have advanced significantly throughout the years, Louisiana health care coverage options did not advance along with it and the procedure is not covered by insurance. Being that the procedure is not covered by insurance, and the procedure is extremely costly, We are fundraising now, because IVF is the only solution to our fertility issue, and our only hope to start our family. We understand those who are unable to contribute monetarily and appreciate any positive thoughts or prayers along our journey.
