Support Cole's Journey: Hospice and Beyond
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kendra and I have the honor of being friends with Megan and Cole. Cole shares a rare genetic disorder my son had called, Phelan-Mcdermid syndrome. He also has Trisomy 9.
Cole is a student at Avon Lake high school. He is the son of two military veterans. He is blessed to have an amazing mother, Megan, and two beautiful sisters.
Cole is a remarkable young individual who touches and impacts everyone he encounters! Cole loves Phineas and Ferb and his family and nurses that surround him. He has an infectious laughter, affectionate headbutt kisses, and loves to give enthusiastic high-fives! Cole has strength, resilience and gives unconditional love.
Cole has braved the various challenges of surviving with Phelan-Mcdermid Syndrome and Trisomy 9 for his short 20 years of life. Unfortunately, these syndromes have taken a toll on his sweet body and Cole will be entering hospice care at the Ames House of Hospice today.
Megan finds herself in a place no mother should be, making choices no mother should have to. This is a lonely, heartbreaking journey and I would like to help ease some of the burdens that medically complex families face, as well as the brutal financial toll a memorial and burial service costs.
Please help me wrap Cole and his family in love and help in any financial way you can.
You can direct any questions, concerns and sympathies to me as Megan and her girls are devoting their time, energy and love into Cole for whatever time they have left together.
