Support Colin with ongoing medical expenses

Hi,

My name is Barb Williamson, and I am fundraising for my husband Colin Williamson.

Colin was diagnosed with a pineal brain tumour in 2004. After attempting to do a biopsy on the tumour, they had to stop due to swelling in the brain. This left him with a permanent brain injury.

After rehabilitation Colin was no longer able to work. He has continued to enjoy his life the best he is able.

Unfortunately, Colin had a fall in December, 2021 which has changed our lives significantly. He now has a walker full time and his balance and eyesight are continuing to decline. The neurologist has said there is nothing they can do to improve his quality of life and he will continue to decline.

i would like to be able to get him a scooter so that he can get around easier, and build a deck with a ramp as he has a very hard time doing stairs.

Because of his continuing decline, I have been missing more work for appointments and staying home with him more often to care for him.

Despite this unfortunate news, I would like to make every day we have left with him to be the best possible. We are so grateful and thankful for the support we have received this far. I hope with your support and messages we have received so far.
