Support Ursla & Girls with Collins' Funeral & Other Expenses

We, Kelly and Jono Strong, are heartbroken to share that our dear friend Ursla Oburu Achieng has tragically lost her husband and best friend, Collins Obuya, in a devastating accident involving an oncoming lorry without its lights on. Ursla, who is not only a cherished friend but also our Chairlady in Kenya and former Senior Social Worker, has been part of our lives for about eight years. During this time, their family has become our family, as we have stayed with them for many months each year during our trips to Kenya. Ursla and Collins were an extraordinary team, and their family is incredibly close. This shocking event has left them in deep grief, and in Kenya, where they live, funerals are held quickly. We want to help ease the financial burden of these expenses during this profoundly challenging time.

Ursla’s four beautiful girls, Tiffany (4), Trinity (10), Tatiana, and Tamara (both 14), are now facing life without their amazing dad. He was an exceptional father, and the loss is immeasurable. We’re reaching out to ask for your support for Ursla and her special family. Our hearts are with Ursla, and we long to be by her side, but we simply can’t afford the trip. We believe that even if we had the finances to go, the funds we’d use for travel can be better utilised by directly supporting Ursla and her girls in their immediate needs.
