Support Connie Guardado: A Community Hero

Hello, my name is Fred Lorrain and I'm setting up this GoFundMe for a member of our Corpus Christi community that gives the majority of her time and energy to serving others. Her name is Connie Guardado, an indispensable member of the local volunteer group "Tacos Not Bombs" that meets once a week to provide meals, clothing etc to the less fortunate. Connie is facing financial hurdles on a number of fronts and like many of us she's uncomfortable asking for help. I was asked by other volunteers to set this up for her so that she might meet her obligations, keep her home, and continue the good work she has been doing. Without getting into too many details, the cost of repaying a second mortgage taken out to perform necessary repairs on her home has gone up significantly recently, her car needs work, and other factors are putting her under a lot of pressure. Let's please come together for Connie, who does so much, day in and day out for others. The funding generously contributed here is intended for the personal use of Connie Guardado.
