Support Corinne's Journey

Hi, my name is Paul Curreri and I'm fundraising for my sister Corinne Curreri-Moore.

Corinne is a survivor of gun violence. She sustained a Spinal Cord Injury and is a paraplegic due to a gunshot wound 51 years ago; she was 13 years old.

Prior to her injury, Corinne's dance instructor, encouraged her to attend extended classes at the Boston Ballet School, to pursue a professional career in ballet.

Throughout the years I have witnessed my sister's courage, persistence, acceptance and resolve to move forward with her life. I have seen her refuse to accept defeat and grow and thrive, not in spite of her disability, but because of it.

We are looking to raise money to help with the cost of new Orthotics (leg braces) which will allow her to continue to walk with their assistance. The cost for the braces is approximately $30,000 out of pocket, and not covered by insurance.

Myself, along with my fellow Middleton American Legion Riders, surprised Corinne with a Benefit on May 11, 2024.

It was a great night! Thank you to all who came out and showed your support, in so many ways! A third of the cost has been raised! We are very grateful for your generosity!
