Support Costa Salgado's Spine Surgery

Hi, my name is Max and my family and I are helping raise funds for my aunt Costa Salgado's Cervical Spine Surgery. My aunt has been there for our entire family, especially my brother and me, looking after us when my parents moved to the United States when were just 4 and 6. I know her to be a strong independent woman who's fought through so much pain and sacrifice, and never asks for anything in return.

My aunt who ultimately cared for my grandmother for the past couple of years, has developed herniated discs in the spine and needs emergency surgery so she doesn't lose mobility. She currently has 3 hernias developing around her cervical spine (in the back of her neck) and 1 around her hip. We hope that her first surgery will remove the 3 fully developed hernias and alleviate the unbearable pain in her head and overall discomfort.

Hola, mi nombre es Max y mi familia y yo estamos ayudando a recaudar fondos para la cirugía de columna cervical de mi tía Costa Salgado. Mi tía ha estado ahí para toda nuestra familia, especialmente para mi hermano y para mí, cuidándonos a los 4 y 6 años cuando mis padres se mudaron a los Estados Unidos. Sé que ella es una mujer fuerte e independiente que ha luchado contra tanto dolor y sacrificio y nunca pide nada a cambio.

Mi tía, quien finalmente cuidó a mi abuelita durante los últimos años, ha desarrollado hernias de disco en la columna y necesita cirugía de emergencia para no perder movilidad. Actualmente tiene 3 hernias desarrollándose alrededor de la columna cervical (en la parte posterior del cuello) y 1 alrededor de la cadera. Esperamos que su primera cirugía elimine las 3 hernias completamente desarrolladas y alivie el insoportable dolor de cabeza y el malestar.
