Fundraiser for Lake Lure Venue Destroyed in Hurricane Helene

Rob and Robin Jones owned the Riverside Event Center in Lake Lure. They helped many couples have the wedding of their dreams in their beautiful venue.

Unfortunately, when Hurricane Helene came through, it completely destroyed their venue. Due to the river destroying the venue, insurance won’t cover the building or the refunds for the couples already demanding their money back. Rob and Robin have put their hearts and souls into this business and are devastated that they won’t be able to continue.

They would never ask for help if they didn’t need it, so we are reaching out to our neighbors and friends for help.

The funds collected will go to the couples whose weddings have been cancelled and have already paid as well as the building’s expenses. Rob and Robin are still trying to help the couples by finding other venues to hold the weddings.

I am starting this GoFundMe for my parents to assist them through this difficult time.
