Support Courtney's Battle with Post-Concussion Syndrome

Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you in good spirits. As many of you may already know, on February 2nd, I was involved in a bike accident that has significantly impacted my life. The aftermath of the accident has been challenging, resulting in an extended absence from work and an ongoing battle with post-concussion syndrome, which has left me unable to return to full-time employment.

Over the past several weeks, I've endured multiple visits to the ER, numerous doctor appointments, physical therapy sessions, and vision therapy treatments in an effort to regain my health and well-being. Despite these efforts, I continue to struggle with persistent headaches and fatigue, making it difficult to resume my normal activities.

While I am immensely grateful for the support I've received from friends and family thus far, I find myself in a difficult financial situation. The Oregon medical leave system, which I had hoped to rely on during this time, is currently experiencing significant delays, leaving me without the financial assistance I desperately need.

Even with health insurance, the costs associated with my treatment and recovery have been substantial. As it stands, my medical bills amount to over 5,000, highlighting the ongoing challenges of the American medical system. As I work to rebuild my strength and resume a normal life, I am reaching out to you for assistance.
