Help Courtney and Her Family Recover After the Los Angeles Fires
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I’m reaching out today to ask for your help and support for my dear friend Courtney and her family who have tragically lost their home in the recent fires in the Altadena area of Los Angeles. Like so many others affected by the devastating fires, they are facing the unimaginable – not only the loss of their home, but also the uncertainty of how to move forward with their lives.
Courtney is such a resilient and caring human being. When I checked in on her, today after learning about her situation, her biggest concern was the well being of the lower income kids at the high school where she teaches, wondering if they would be okay in all of this. She’s constantly offering a helping hand, providing support, and spreading kindness and laughter to others. Now, it’s our turn to support her.
The fire left them with nothing basically, but the clothes on their backs, and they’re starting from scratch in a very difficult time. While they are incredibly grateful to be safe, the emotional and financial burden is overwhelming. They are in need of funds to help cover even the most basic essentials like food and clothing.
Any amount you can contribute will make a difference, whether it's a donation or simply sharing this campaign with your network. Every dollar brings Courtney, her kids, Beckett and Hartwell, and her husband John, one step closer to recovery.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support would mean so much to Courtney and her family and to all of us who care about them.
With gratitude,
Lily
