A Benefit for Covenant Heals and MusiCares®

On Mar 27, 2023, at the Covenant school in Nashville, TN, three children aged 9, and 3 adults, a teacher, a custodian, and the head of the school, were shot and killed.

We are raising money to help the students and those suffering from this sad reality we are dealing with everyday gun violence.

Covenant Heals has been created as an arm of the school and church to move toward healing and growth. Its focus is connecting the community with individual care and facilitating groups and opportunities for healing, development, and learning.

MusiCares offers eligible individuals financial assistance and resources for psychotherapy, coaching and psychiatric expenses, and inpatient and outpatient treatment. MusiCares acts as a safety net for the music community in need.

Gun violence affects everyone regardless of skin color, political party, religion, men or women, and most concerning, if you are a child or adult. It’s time to start putting our issues aside and stand as one. Things have to change.

Your donations will go towards providing Covenant Heals and MusiCares communities with continued care through the 2023-2024 school year and beyond, as well as giving those in need mental health, health, and human services while delivering service, inclusivity, empowerment, and integrity to those facing challenges.

I, Grace Bowers, will be withdrawing the donations directly from GoFundMe, and distributing the donations to Covenant Heals and MusiCares outside of GoFundMe.

In addition to this fundraiser, Grace Bowers and Friends will present an evening celebrating Love, Life, and Music on Jul 10, 2023 at the Basement East in Nashville TN. The show will start at 8:30 PM and tickets can be purchased at this link. Proceeds from this event will also go towards Covenant Heals and MusiCares.
