Support Crystal Crapo Michael's Final Journey

Hello family and friends of Crystal Crapo Michael!

As of today, Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024, Miss Crystal is mostly sleeping on the couch, waking for snuggles from her granddaughter (her favorite food these day) and maybe a few words with family, a sip or two of chamomile tea or water, and an adjustment of her pillows.

This final journey of our marriage began with an eleven-day stay at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky. The diagnosis was grim, the prognosis dire, but the simple resolve to take Hospice at home was an easy decision. And it has turned out well, in our opinion.

Among her flowers and familiar things, Crystal has received family and friends, extended family and her children on a near daily basis. Now that she tires so easily, only a few close friends and family are gathering around, and I want to keep her wider circle informed.

Crystal wants you to know that she is looking forward to full healing and immense joy in the presence of her Savior very soon. The joy of time spent with those she loves gathered around has been sweet, especially knowing she will see you again soon, but she is also looking forward to peace and perfect health in a few days time.

So please leave notes of memories and prayers, and please be consoled with us that she is living her last days in harmony with how she has lived her life, trusting in the loving hands of her Lord Jesus.
