I'm Coach Moses, and boxing saved my life. I started boxing as a teenager when I needed direction, discipline, and a community to belong to. Boxing gave me strength when I didn't know I had any—and now I'm proud to give that same strength back.
Today, I help coach the next generation of fighters at CW Boxing. Our gym is more than a place to train; it's a home, a sanctuary, and sometimes a lifeline. Nobody pays to train here. We volunteer our time because we believe in these kids and their future, and we believe in this community.
Next week (May 12), one of our own—Axel—is heading to the Golden Gloves National Championships in Tulsa, OK. He's earned his shot, and we're incredibly proud of him. But like many things in boxing, it takes a village to get a fighter to the ring. Travel, meals, gear—it all adds up. And as coaches, we often pay out of pocket to make sure these boxers get the opportunities they deserve.
That's why I'm hosting a Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser on Sunday, May 4th from 4 pm to 7 pm. Whether you can join us in person or send support, every plate served and every dollar donated helps keep the fight going for CW Boxing Club.
Thank you for your support and go CW Boxing!
