This page was made with the purpose of helping Cykes get the funding he needs to travel to the United States this December to compete at CEOTaku 2024. Below is a message from Cykes himself:

Introduction:

Hi, my name is Luca Brizuela (Cykes), a 19-year-old fighting game competitor from Mexico. I am passionate about BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle (BBTAG) and have dedicated countless hours to mastering my skills. My dream is to represent my country on the grand stage of CEOtaku 2024 and prove myself as a top competitor in the world of fighting games.

My Journey:

From a young age, I found solace and excitement in video games, especially fighting games. The complexity, strategy, and adrenaline rush of competition captivated me. Over the years, I've participated in numerous online tournaments, achieving excellent results and steadily improving my gameplay. These accomplishments fuel my determination to compete at CEOtaku 2024.

My Dream:

Competing at CEOtaku 2024 is more than just participating in a tournament; it's about representing my country, Mexico, on an international stage. It's about showing that with hard work, dedication, and passion, anyone can achieve their dreams. I want to prove that I'm a formidable competitor and inspire others to pursue their passions relentlessly.

Why I Need Your Help:

Despite my success in online tournaments, I face significant financial challenges in making it to CEOtaku 2024. Traveling to the United States, covering accommodation, and other expenses are beyond my current means. My esports team, Sprite Corner Esports (SCE), is generously covering my entrance fee, so that's one less thing to worry about. This is why I am reaching out to the community for support!
