Support Cynthia and Ivy Jordan through Tragic Loss
Donation protected
We are raising money to support Cynthia Jordan (née Weller) and her family as they navigate a personal tragedy. On February 7, Tommy Jordan, a loving father and husband, lost his life in a car accident. Tommy was deeply loved, and his sudden loss is heartbreaking to the many people whose lives he touched. He is survived by his wife Cynthia, and their children Ivy, TJ, Owen and Malachi Jordan. Beyond the incredible grief they are experiencing as a family, this tragic loss has brought with it a significant financial burden.
You can help. We are asking Tommy and Cynthia’s community to support their family through this tragedy in any way you can. Your donations will ease the difficulty of the path ahead. Please give if you are able, in any amount you can afford, and please share this fundraiser widely.
About Tommy & Cynthia
Anyone who met Tommy learned instantly that he was warm and gregarious, he laughed easily and often, and he made the people around him feel comfortable and at ease. Most of us who knew Tommy were drawn to him immediately for his warmth and simple joy of life, and because it was so clear that every time he looked at Cynthia he was a man fully in love.
Tommy and Cynthia met on an Amtrak train during Cynthia’s daily commute to Davis. He became a daily fixture in her life and slowly fell in love. They married in January 2021 during a ceremony that was both beautiful and inspiring. Tommy was a wonderful husband and father who will be sorely missed. Of course, Tommy saw in Cynthia the same traits that her friends know well. She is unbelievably kind and generous, she is intelligent and thoughtful, and she brightens every room she enters. Last fall, Tommy and Cynthia’s love expanded their family by one, bringing their newborn daughter Ivy into the world. Together, Tommy and Cynthia built a loving relationship that was supportive, warm, and joyful, and they shared these gifts openly with everyone whose lives they touched.
More than anything, Tommy and Cynthia have always taken care of the people in their lives. In the difficult days ahead, their family will need the same support and generosity that they have given so freely to those around them. Through the impossible loss of their beloved husband and father, please keep Cynthia and her family in your thoughts and your prayers, send them your love, and offer them support in a time of need.
