In Memory of Cynthia Amaleswari Forga: Support Requested

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Cynthia Amaleswari Forga on October 24, 2024.

We are reaching out to family, friends and community members with a request for funds to support her daughter with unexpected expenses so she can give her beloved mother the honor she deserves.

Multi-talented and a beauty, Cynthia’s life was exciting and varied.

She was an airline stewardess exploring the world, an art appraiser, fundraiser, and event organizer; a loving mother and wife. Brave and fiercely curious, intelligent and engaging, those who met her were instantly charmed.

In her search to bring harmony to her life, she arrived in Yogaville, VA in 1988. She went on to become a certified teacher of all the trainings offered and dedicated herself to ashram life, serving at Guest Services, Distribution, leading and managing the Living Yoga Training program, teaching the Yoga Teacher Training groups and working at the LOTUS Centre for All Faiths for many years.

A light of kindness, comfort, and strength, known for her warm smile, intelligence, with a gift for connecting with people from all walks of life, she helped countless people seeking care, comfort, education, and assistance in her life and work.

The funds raised will support her daughter as she pays the medical, funeral, and legal expenses. The goal is to raise $7,500.
