Support Cynthia's recovery and rehabilitation
Donation protected
Hello, everyone. I am Joe Schauer, and I am here to ask for your support for my sister Cindy. Cindy went through a traumatic ordeal last August when she severely broke her ankle. The injury was complicated by a serious infection that resisted all treatments, and the doctors had no choice but to amputate her right foot. This has been a devastating blow for Cindy, a vibrant and active person. She has shown incredible courage and resilience but still needs our help to recover and adapt to her new situation. I have created this fundraiser to raise money for her upcoming needs, such as prosthetics, therapy, and home modifications. We are very thankful that the hospital waived most of the medical bills, but there are still many expenses not covered by insurance. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference in Cindy’s life. Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
Cindy has a remarkable career in the field of marketing. She worked as the Vice President of Marketing Operations and Create Services for Rite Aid, a leading drugstore chain, for four years. She was responsible for overseeing the marketing strategy, operations, and creative services for the company. She then became a Freelance Experience Marketing and Brand Strategist, helping various clients to create and execute effective marketing campaigns and brand identities. She also served as the Director of Mail and B2B Marketing for Office Depot, a leading provider of office supplies and services, where she managed the mail and business-to-business marketing programs.
Cindy is not only a successful professional, but also a passionate athlete. She loves to challenge herself with different kinds of endurance sports, such as marathons, ultramarathons, and ironman races. She has competed in 12 full marathons (42.195 km), 19 half marathons (21.0975 km), 10 ultramarathons (ranging from 50 km to 100 km), and 2 full Ironmans (3.86 km swim, 180.25 km bike, and 42.195 km run). She has an impressive record of more than 75 competitions in total. For Cindy, losing a foot is more than a physical loss.
