Support Dahlia's Fight Against Uterine Cancer

Donation protected
Update:
Dahlia got all of her tests done today, which cost about $715 to get done (650 deposit to get started, the rest due at pick up this afternoon). We got the wonderful news that her cancer hasn't spread and she is eligible for surgery. She goes next week and the vet is very hopeful that she will survive and have many more long years ahead of her! Because of her age and cancer, it will be much more involved than a typical spay and will run about 1400usd.
But today was hard. As I was trying to get her into her kennel for travel, she began bleeding everywhere. My spare mattress is ruined and there's blood all over the floor. I am doing my best to clean up her area while she's at the vet so she can come home to a nice clean, comfortable place to relax.
Even just sharing this makes such a difference. Every penny helps me bring her home without resorting to further debt that I can't afford right now.
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and chipped in. It means the world to me and my sweet girl. I give her an extra piece of banana for every donation that comes in so she knows she is loved.

Meet Dahlia!

Dahlia is the sweetest bun you've ever met. She's sassy, smart, hilarious, and loves her treats. She's not scared of a damn thing and will even show a vacuum cleaner who is boss.
Dahlia came to me as a seven-year old bun after her original owner passed suddenly. When I took her in, I was under the impression that she'd been well-cared for and was in very good health.
This sadly turned out not to be the case. At seven, Dahlia had been to the vet three times in her life. She is not vaccinated, her nails hadn't been trimmed in years, she had sore hocks on her back feet, and her hiding house was so small that if she tried to get inside of it she couldn't fit her entire body and ended up knocking it around, and had not been spayed. While Dahlia is thriving in her day-to-day activities, eating well, and being very active, bunnies develop uterine cancer at a rate of up to 80% by the age of four or five if they are left intact. Recently, she has started showing signs of uterine cancer. We are very hopeful to have caught it early and, bun willing, will be able to remove it when she goes in to get spayed.
Unfortunately, when I agreed to rescue this sweet girl, I was not financially prepared to cover cancer treatment costs. I am currently living off very little money as I navigate getting back on my own two feet after a divorce. Taking care of my bun in her day-to-day has not been a challenge, but I unfortunately do not currently have thousands of dollars at my disposal. I have since built her a new hutch from scratch and created a lovely area for her to hang out in and let her free roam in supervised areas. She does binkies, knows where I keep her treats, and follows me around the room so that I'll stop and love on her. We bonded quickly and have become inseparable and she brings so much joy to my life in what is otherwise an extremely rough patch.
The money here is a rough estimate of what it will cost if her cancer has progressed. If we're lucky enough that it doesn't run quite this much, any remaining money will go toward buying Dahlia a new play hutch from Small Pet Select, getting her the RHD vaccine that she never got with her previous owner, and donated to the local rabbit rescue.

Thank you for anything you can contribute. Even if you can't, please enjoy these pictures and videos of my little best friend.
