On May 8th, 2024, our father, Dallas C. Hunter III, 74, of Akron, Ohio, was critically injured in his home while attempting to protect his wife from a brutal and vicious attack. Despite his valiant efforts, his wife succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the scene. Dad was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency life-saving surgery.

In addition to grieving the loss of his beloved wife of 15 years, our father is now facing an uncertain and lengthy road to recovery; physically, emotionally, and financially. Owing to the severity and complexity of these recent tragic events, we are asking for your help in covering significant, unforeseen medical bills, home repair and restoration costs, replacement of lost and damaged personal possessions as well as substantial, ongoing legal expenses.
