Support Damion Parker's funeral expenses
Donation protected
Hello, my name is barbara McClure On April 4, 2025 me my husband Damion Parker and our daughter and another girl decided to go to Myrtle Beach on that Friday night. As we were entering Aynor SC traveling down the road we were hit by a drunk driver. I am currently 7 weeks pregnant with our 3rd child, and our Daughter Za’nova were all able to get out the wreck with some bruising and scratches. As of my husband, Damion, he was air lifted to Grand Strand Hospital in Myrtle Beach. The injuries that Damion sustained were bleeding on the brain, bleeding internally, the bones in his face broken, his left leg is broken, and they had to place wires into his head and place him on life support. As of April 6, 2025 family came down from York, SC to support me and her daughter in this moment. They all traveled to the hospital together and the doctors informed us Damion had something on his heart. Which they made a call to take him off the high blood pressure medication due to if he stayed on the medication his heart would explode, which also stopped pushing blood to his brain. When in that moment I had to make the decision to unplug my husband.
As we know this is the most difficult time in My life, Damion was an organ donor. And he was able to donate his liver and kidneys and save someone’s life. Damion was 21 years old, as a 21 year old he never thought about life insurance or Medicaid. I am now in all need for any help and support I can get, so we set up a go fund me to help with all funeral expenses. Damion’s funeral will be on Monday, April 14, 2025. We are needing to come up with the rest of the funeral expenses and i am asking anyone and everyone for a donation or prayer for this family at this time. Damion leaves behind his wife and 3 children, Damion loved his family and would do anything in his power to make ends meet.
We are needing to raise 3,400 by Sunday April 13,2025 to have his funeral.
Thank you so much, for sharing her story and helping her put her husband to rest.
