Support Dan Bonawitz's Memorial Fund

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved union brother, Dan Bonawitz, a dedicated member of SMART since 2006 and a Union Pacific trainman out of Kansas City. Dan was not only a passionate advocate for labor rights but also a mentor, educator, and friend who profoundly impacted everyone who knew him. His dedication to teaching haz-mat safety, organizing for SMART, and supporting the Kansas Legislative Board highlighted his unwavering commitment to our union and its members.

To honor Dan's memory and support his family during this difficult time, we have established a memorial fund to help cover funeral and memorial expenses. Any contribution, big or small, will help ensure that we can give Dan the tribute he so richly deserves.
