Support Dan Horn’s Recovery

If you’ve known Dan, whether it was for part of his Friday night set, as one of his coworkers, or his friend from sixth grade, you know what a truly good soul looks like.

All funds will go to help our friend, his family, and his daughters as he makes his recovery.

Our friend and employer put it best;

“Late Friday night, our friend, employee, and Friday night musician Dan Horn was assaulted and put into the hospital. He was beaten in the face and body with a frying pan, and sustained a stab wound to his back, resulting in blood in his lungs and oxygen in his chest cavity. We are so grateful that he has survived, but after several days in the hospital, his body is badly damaged, normal breathing is difficult, and the length of his road to recovery is still unknown. What's more, is that no arrests have been made as a result of his attack.

Dan is an instrumental part of our family here at the SQRL, having been our regular Friday night entertainment for years, and working as one of our BOH Leads. He's a local kid who people know to be a kind person and great friend, with two small daughters.

We are very grateful that at this point it looks like Dan will survive and recover, but we are sick that our friend is hurting and experiencing this level of pain.

Beginning today, we will be donating a portion of our sales to Dan and his family, to make sure that this attack on his body does not also impact his family and livelihood. This percentage of sales will help supplement his income while he's out of work (his wallet, with 2 weeks worth of cash tips in it, is also missing from the scene), as well as go towards any legal fees he may incur while navigating the legal process to ensure his attack does not go unpunished.”
