Support Dan Trimble's Road to Recovery

I'm reaching out to you all on behalf of our dear friend Dan Trimble. Earlier this year, Dan found out that he had lung cancer that could be surgically removed. He went in for a left upper lung lobectomy. The surgery was successful. He was minutes from coming home on Thursday April 14th. The kids were in the car so excited waiting for Daddy to be wheeled down when the nurse called his wife Gina and told her to come into the hospital. Minutes from coming home to his family, Dan suffered a stroke.

Because Dan had just had major surgery, they could not administer a clot buster. They spent four hours trying to retrieve the clot without success. Dan had spent a few days in the ICU but is now at a rehab facility in Escondido.

Gina and the kids have been making a regular 45 minute-1 hour commute from their home in La Mesa to the rehab facility in Escondido.

The stroke has left Dan and his family with significant medical expenses, and while he is making progress, the road ahead is going to be long. To help ease the financial burden on him and his family, we've set up this GoFundMe campaign.

Dan is an amazing husband and father. He has touched so many lives with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for others, he has made a lasting impact on all of us. Now, let's come together to show him how much he means to us.
