Help Dana after Dave's Passing

Two weeks ago, Dave Goodnow passed away. He left behind his wife - my sister, Dana - and the two fourteen year olds they were raising together, Gabriel and Bella. 

Dave provided for my sister and her kids throughout their marriage. They enjoyed the rural parts of Oregon on their weekend excursions. They loved living in Williams and tended their property together. They always had friends and family hanging around, making noise, and sharing love.

They helped each other in so many ways: Dana helped Dave prioritize his health and his family; Dave taught Dana how to slow down and appreciate life.

Now that Dave is gone, Dana needs help again.

House payments are due. The kids are starting high school. Dana has to take care of her property, duties she used to share with Dave. She's even talking about getting a second job just to pay the bills.

And of course the insurance company is putting a grieving widow through hell before they'll give her the money they owe her. 

We're trying to raise $3000 so Dana can pay her mortgage for the next three months. If you can, please contribute - $5, $10, anything helps. This will allow her to finish grieving, return to work at a reasonable time, and make new plans for the future.
