"From War to Hope: My Journey towards Success and Education

Hello, I’m Dana Alashi from Gaza, a place that was filled with love and peace for years until October came and turned our lives upside down. Last year, as we rebuilt our home and life began looking up, disaster struck. The events of October 7th destroyed everything we had, forcing my family into displacement and uncertainty. We were forced to endure displacement eight times, living in tent. In the pictures, the difference between our living place before and after the war is clear.

The Challenge: After our home was lost to conflict, my family endured months of displacement, living in cramped spaces and tents. Through this upheaval, I received a beacon of hope—an acceptance from university in Australia. It’s not just an opportunity for education but a lifeline to rebuild our lives.

Current Situation: I have evacuated to Egypt and face significant financial barriers that prevent me from pursuing my studies abroad. The costs are daunting, but with your help, I can overcome these hurdles and transform my future.

How the Funds Will Be Used: I am seeking your support to cover:

Anticipated Total Expenses: Based on these figures, my initial goal is to raise sufficient funds to cover the tuition and living expenses, totaling approximately $162,600 USD.

Long-Term Goals: From my belief in the importance of education and the spirit of giving in this life, and from my humanitarian duty towards my homeland, I promise you that during my university studies, I will exert my utmost effort to build a successful professional life that enables me to establish a charitable organization to assist children affected by war and provide them with support to continue their education. And based on the principle of not forgetting those who helped me and contributed to the beginning of my university life, the classrooms, schools, and educational materials will bear their names, in commemoration of your memory and appreciation for yours contribution to this campaign their names.
