The way our work lives have altered since we suddenly stopped seeing Daniel and Sarah at work every day is nothing compared to how their entire lives have changed over the past couple of months.

Daniel and Sarah, a happy young couple, try to live their best lives. They are dedicated to their careers and enjoy simple things like a delicious meal or a ride to work on their moped. The last thing they expected was a cancer diagnosis. What seemed to be a relatively mundane leg pain turned into a leukemia diagnosis in less than three weeks. Daniel was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia (B-ALL). He just completed 35 days of aggressive chemotherapy treatments at a hospital in Orlando. His family and Sarah have been by his side 24/7. In the latest update we heard that his body is responding positively, and that the Leukemia has been decimated from his spine. He will need to continue with chemo treatments for what could be a year or more, eventually needing a bone marrow transplant. The road ahead is long, but we are very hopeful that the result will be nothing short of miraculous.

A life altering diagnosis like this is not something you could ever be prepared for. Monthly payments, medical expenses and just the general cost of living are things they still need to be worried about. We are trying to raise money for them to help with unforeseen costs associated with his diagnosis.
