Support Danny Robinson After the Eaton Fire!

Donation protected

Danny Robinson lost his home in the Eaton Fire along with most of their family treasures. Residents of Altadena since the 1970's, Danny is displaced and his 83-year-old mother, Minnie, is now staying with family in Mississippi until they can rebuild. Four generations of the Robinson family have been seriously effected by the Eaton wildfire.

Danny, a mechanic and car guy, lost 5 cars including a C4 Corvette, '66 GTO, and '62 Impala, a '92 GMC and an '82 Ford 150, his deceased father's truck, . His Hot Wheels collection, drum set, Miami Dolphins memorabilia, family heirlooms, photos, are also a total loss.

Danny's strong community spirit was captured in an article in the Los Angeles Times on January 26th, written by Jeffrey Fleishman. Please google "Danny Robinson" and "Los Angeles Times" to learn more about him and his family or click on the L.A Times article here:

Your donations will help with food, gas, necessities, clothing, daily life needs, and eventually all of the items you see when you scan your own home and yard. He will need to purchase tools to continue his passion of working on cars and help the neighborhood rebuild. Hopefully, he will be able to find another 1986 Corvette to replace the one he lost as he didn't yet register it and therefore, it was uninsured.

Despite this time of extreme hardship, Danny continues to show up for his family, his neighbors, and his community. His faith in humanity is strong and inspiring. His positive nature resonates even as he sifts through the ash looking for his mother's jewelry.

Please join me in supporting our friend, Danny, a fellow car enthusiast and Hot Wheels collector, a Dodgers fan, drummer, and all around good man.

Anything helps so on behalf of the Robinson family, thank you.

Full disclosure: As the organizer, I live in West L.A., and read Danny Robinson's story in the L.A. Times. We did not know each other before the Eaton Fire, but have become fast friends over our love for the Dodgers, old cars, and Hot Wheels. He and his delightful fiancee are staying in a hotel currently. Danny never asked for my help, but could really use it right now.
