Support Danny's Fight Against HCL

As many of you know, Danny was diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia (HCL) this spring. You likely hadn’t heard of it before as it has the worst name – and it’s very rare, making up around 2% of all leukemia cases.

The good news is that Hairy Cell Leukemia is highly treatable! And ~90% of patients that receive the treatment that Danny is currently going through go into an extended remission. We have no doubt Danny will crush this treatment – and be filled with pretty cells later this summer

She’s already endured a bone marrow biopsy, the chemo portion of the treatment, a hospital admittance after a neutropenic fever, a blood transfusion, and is now going through immunotherapy.

Our goal is to help alleviate some of the financial stress Danny is facing during this difficult time. She was laid off from her job just three weeks prior to her diagnosis. While this unexpected unemployment is allowing her to focus on her health and recovery, it also means new insurance, deductibles to meet and no income to counter the mounting medical bills.

Danny is an amazingly kind and generous person, always there for her friends in times of need. Now she needs our help! We appreciate any donation you might be able to give, and we also ask that you keep Danny in your thoughts during this challenging time.
