Support Danny's Transition Journey

Hello all! My name is Danny and I am reaching out with love and raw vulnerability. I am a transgender man, parent, and husband.

A bit about me,

I am the proud parent of an amazing 4-year-old, who was born just days before the pandemic shut everything down.

I married my best friend in 2015 and we have been through so much since then. She has supported me through every step of this journey.

My Medical journey

I began my transition in 2017, and have taken every step I can to feel at one with my body.

Phalloplasty is a major medical journey

The process is done in 3 parts, each part is a major surgery in itself, the healing process is an entire process as well

Stage two will require me to be bed bound for at least 4 weeks, and then weeks of healing after that.

It’s required to stay near the hospital during those 4 weeks which will require lodging away from home.

I have undergone phase one of this part of my transition and I enter phase two with a new perspective on the cost of such a procedure

From the surgery bill itself, hospital stay, housing near the hospital for a month, rent at home and everyday bills. I do not seek assistance lightly

To ask for monetary help in any regard, but especially with such a sensitive situation, is not something I do lightly. I assure that any donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in my journey.
