Support Darlene Wilson's Road to Recovery After Hit and Run

I hate to be here asking for help but my mom desperately needs it. On Wednesday, April 24, at approximately 3:45 pm, my mom Darlene Wilson, was walking home from her job in University City when she was hit by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene and managed to hit her twice. She was unresponsive and was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where she is currently in serious but stable condition in the ICU. The extent of her injuries are serious and she does very minimal medical insurance. Currently one of the injuries include a broken pelvis and is on her way to surgery. The driver of the vehicle who hit her was not found so she’s left to sustain medical bills, loss of wages and a potential to not work for a very long time as she’s got a long road to recovery.

As many of you know, she lost her husband in June and recently returned to work. And right now, she may not ever go back to work. She loves her work and loves her clients dearly.

The funds that are received will be used to toward any bills she may incur as a result of this incident and assist with anything she may need to aid in her recovery.
