Darling, or The Pan Play, is a heartfelt exploration of J.M. Barrie’s most famous fictional family, and their experiences after the Neverland event. Meticulously researched, and cunningly structured, Darling is an ode to the adult remembrance of our childhood romance. The play examines the aftermath of familial death, through the lens of one of our most enduring modern myths. Reweaving the fabric of the Pan story, Darling deals with the inevitably heartbreaking, but ultimately hopeful truth, that our lives are ours to live; our stories are ours to tell; and our pasts, our tragedies and our triumphs, are our own to make. It is, in the end, a play about reclaiming our memories and dreams.
