In late September of this year we noticed a strange lump on the side of my dads neck and after many tests were undertaken, devastatingly he was diagnosed with cancer. This news was obviously shocking to us and caused much heartache and sadness.
As many may know, my dad runs his own business and therefore all of the appointments, tests and scans had a negative impact on his working schedule. As we came to late October, with dad working to get all of his jobs finished, it came to a point where he could no longer work and needed to begin treatment.
In early November, dad went into surgery to have the two tumours removed and after a week in hospital he was free to go home and rest, ready for the next step in his treatment.

Due to the invasive surgery he had he was unable to go back to work and now moving towards the next step of his treatment, radiation, he will still be unable to go back to work.

The radiation itself is an expensive process, combined with the hold on his business, meaning there will be very little income until hopefully March of next year.
My parents don’t often ask for help and therefore this does feel unusual for myself.
If anybody could help out just a little bit, if it’s just $5 we would be so appreciative. Mum and I are working as much as we can but will also eventually get to a point where we will again need to take turns taking dad to and from his treatments.
We appreciate all the help and love we have already received and truely appreciate all the thoughts and prayers people have for us
Although this has been and still is a sad time, we’ve received so much love and support and are so blessed to have the friends and family that we have ❤️
