Darryl brown loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Passed away on Nov 5th, 2024, he is survived by his wife of 36 years Terry Brown, and three loving children Morgan, Jordan, and Madison brown, 5 grandchildren in order ( Wynter, Ezra, Nova, Elijah, and Amila).

Darryl brown was a beacon of light and energy, always seeing the best out of any situation. Darryl was a firefighter with the city of Gainesville for the better half of his life, where he bravely served his community in any way possible. He fought a long hard battle for 30 years with End stage renal disease. Even with his diagnosis he never ceased to be active.

His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the family he cherished, and the community he served so faithfully. Darryl Brown’s journey was one of service, love, and unwavering dedication to those around him. His memory will forever be a beacon of light in our hearts, reminding us to live with the same passion, kindness, and strength that he did.

Rest in peace, Dad. You will be missed more than words can express, but we find comfort in knowing that you are watching over us with that ever-present smile.

All funds will be used for the funeral services and other related expenses.

At Mt. Moriah Baptist Church
718 Southeast 11th Street
at 11:00 AM

This will be a full firefighters Memorial.
