- Hi, my name is Sue Townsend and I started this Go Fund Me for Datin Claypool. He is a member of our Youth Group at the Fresh Start Recovery Church that meets on Sunday nights at Columbia First United Methodist. He is the young man who was involved in a 4 wheeler accident involving a car in front of Mooresville Market. He had to be life flighted to Vanderbilt. He ripped his colon in two places. One place was removed and the other repaired. He also had a rip in his abdominal wall which was able to be repaired. In addition, he has about a 4 inch hernia that is too dangerous to repair at the moment. The surgery for his leg today was successful. He is not out of the woods and needs prayer . His Mom will need to be off work to care for him. She can get time off from her job, but it will be an unpaid medical leave. In addition to that, her vehicle needs repair. They’re not sure how long Datin will need to be in Vanderbilt so there’s the potential for numerous trips back and forth to Nashville. If our Lord has blessed you and you would like to pay it forward, then this is a wonderful way to help.
