Support Dave's Recovery: A Hero's Journey

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Bryan. My friend Dave is a US Army veteran who unfortunately lost his leg in Afghanistan. He is a selfless person and too proud to ever ask for something like a GoFundMe to be made for him, but with just recently getting married and having two young children, he is now out of work for the next few months recovering from his 3rd surgery to try and finally stop the infection in his leg, caused by foreign matter being embedded in him from an improvised explosive device.

Dave is the kind of guy who, after you hear his story, you’re shocked he’s so upbeat and kind after going through all this.

Don’t get me wrong, he certainly has that 1,000-yard stare that’ll go right through you if you bring it out of him, but he is a great friend, a caring husband, and an even better father to his two young boys.

Dave deserves far better than to be even slightly worried about bills and work after already giving so much for his country, so I hope if you’re reading this, you can find it in your heart to skip your $7 coffee from Starbucks today and donate a few bucks to Dave and his family while he’s recovering.

Any amount would be a big help and I hope I can surprise him with enough money to be able to relax for the next few months. Hopefully, he doesn’t give me that 1,000-yard stare for making him a GoFundMe lol. Thank you for reading!
