Support David Earley & Family's Recovery Journey

Donation protected
Thank you for reading my friend David Earley's story and thank you for your consideration of making a donation to Dave and his family in their time of need. I don't ask my friends for much but I am asking you to PLEASE CONSIDER donating something, even if it is small.

For those of you who don't know, my great friend David Earley was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis @ only 9 years old.

Over the years, due to the disease, Dave had to give up many things he loved. He had to stop playing football, basketball, skateboarding, snowboarding, and playing guitar to name a few.

But David never gave up. He overcame many obstacles and always kept his sense of humor and positive attitude.

After high school, he went on to graduate from Clemson University and is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He met his sweet wife Logan after college, they married, and they now have 2 beautiful daughters/reside in Greenville.

David has had both knees replaced, both hips replaced, and numerous operations on his hands and feet over the years, as this rare form of arthritis attacked his body. As you know, these procedures are extremely rare for someone to have to have done in their 20s and 30s.

At the age of 37, due to Dave's rare case of arthritis and other health issues, Dave had something in his neck shift, and he had a STROKE.

Even with everything that has gone on in Dave's life regarding his health since age 9, he has kept a great attitude, stayed positive, and remained a great friend to so many of us.

Dave and his family need our help, support, and prayers. On March 17, 2025 (Monday of this week), Dave had a very intensive surgery on his spine and neck. This was an extremely complicated procedure that is going to make him be out of commission for many months. In a nutshell, his spine was growing into the base of his skull which could have killed him. He was on the operating table for between 7-8 hours and this surgery will be followed by 6-7 months of intense physical therapy.

In addition to the above, right after he recovers from this surgery, he has to have back surgery.

It is going to be quite some time before Dave will be able to do any sort of work (and he might not be able to work ever again) so I wanted to start this go fund me so we can help Dave and his family in their time of need.

I am asking for everyone's help, even if it's a small donation. I have never done a go fund me before and I rarely ask any of friends for help, but I am doing so now. Dave and his family don't even know I am starting this GO FUND ME campaign as he is the type of person that doesn't want to burden people or ask people for help. He might get frustrated with me for even doing this but they truly need our help and I know that friends will come through for Dave and his family!
