Support David Rogers' Funeral Expenses

We are aiming to raise funds to help with my father's funeral expenses. His name is David Rogers. He was born in Canadian, OK, and lived in the McAlester area for many, many years. He worked as a C.N.A. for around 25 years or so at Regency/McAlester Nursing Center. He has given so much of himself to selflessly care for others his whole life.

Several years ago, he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, and he already had C.O.P.D., which makes breathing a very hard task. There is no cure for pulmonary fibrosis, and it is progressive. At first, he was a candidate for a lung transplant until last December when he had an aneurysm and a small stroke. We tried to get him life insurance over the years, but he was denied repeatedly due to health reasons. He lived on social security disability.

I had some rainy day funds set aside to use for his funeral expenses but used them several months ago in retaining a lawyer for guardianship of my nephew, as my brother is deceased.
