As you know I am David Holloway an unsigned songwriter from Nottingham, with 3 years of experience. I am deeply inspired by music, and in 2020 I put melodies to my own poetry for the first time. That led to my first play on BBC introducing. I self-funded my first 2 albums, with professional singers and producers. 'Water into Wine' is my 7th song played by the BBC on 8th August 2024.

I have had no music training, or mentoring, my abilities are natural and focus on rock and jazz music. The third album will use country and pop genres which are upbeat and modern.

I knew I was cut out to be a songwriter and after my mum died I had to support myself. I need your help to raise the funds that will hire real country singers and an incredible producer. My songs can be found on YouTube. I am writing as many songs as possible, the demos are not music standard quality. 10 of the best songs will appear on the album.

The reality is my music genres are not wanted by today's record companies, who want what is in the charts. I write traditional songs, but these latest country and pop songs are modern, high quality and relevant.

I cannot support myself from Spotify as I require 1000's of plays. I know the third album you help fund will be my best and most successful. With good quality songs I can approach a record company with my album and see what happens. There are lots of cool record companies that will love my style and songwriting.
