Support Dawn and Howard in Their Time of Tragic Loss

Hello, my name is Lauren and my sister April and I are hoping to raise funds today for our beautiful sister Dawn and her loving husband, Howard.

The unimaginable happened on 7/7/24 at 7:17 pm; our lives were forever changed in the worst way. Dawn, Howard and their miracle daughter Haven lost the newest addition to their family. While they should be celebrating the arrival of Declan James Crawford, instead they are laying him to rest. Their long awaited son and miracle IVF baby was delivered stillborn at 37 weeks and 5 days, weighing 6 lb 1 oz at 19 3/4 in long.

Dawn’s last ultrasound just 4 days prior showed he was doing great. We have no answers on what happened. He was growing strong and healthy every day with no unforeseen problems or complications. It still feels unreal.

Parents should never have to bury their babies or children, and I can’t imagine the pain they are in. Lost, devastated, and heartbroken barely begin to describe it. Many people have asked how they can help. Besides keeping Dawn, Howard, Haven and our family in your prayers, April and I are starting this fundraiser for Dawn and Howard to alleviate some of the financial burden in the days to come. They should not have to worry about any medical expenses, home essentials or time away from work during this time of grieving.
